Throughout his career Martin Serena has guided the design efforts for a diverse portfolio of environmentally responsible architectural work. Through his efforts the firm continues to expand it's sensibility to the development of collaborative whole systems approach to design which is responsive to the unique qualities of each clients' mission and project setting. As a result, each generation of projects are reaching ever higher performance levels in beauty, user health and comfort, conservation, energy efficiency, site/building integration and ultimately resulting in design excellence awards and recognition.

As a recognized leader in environmentally sustainable design and construction Mr. Serena's stewardship has helped to foster an awareness of the need for conservation and preservation through thoughtful use of natures systems. This commitment to thorough planning and environmentally responsive design coupled with science based decision making, sensitive to these tenets, has helped the firm produce projects recognized for their environmental sensitivity, quality, beauty and value.
