This building is part of the administrative center of the Kane County Corrections Complex which includes the jail, diagnostic center, youth home and court services. This particular facility houses the Sheriff’s administration and Law Enforcement department as well as the firing range and morgue. The public may visit the main level which includes administrative services and investigative departments, but they are restricted from access to the lower level. The design promotes operational efficiency, future flexibility, and energy conservation. The low horizontal concrete structure promotes an image of strength and stability to the public.
