Located within an environmentally sensitive community, this school will be designed in accordance to LEED standards. It will serve approximately 360 K-8 students in its first year with rooms dedicated to science, music and art plus a future gymnasium and library. We will provide a superior learning atmosphere which operates more efficiently and protects the environment. It is anticipated to consume at least 30% less energy than a conventional building through the use of renewable energy such as wind, rain and sun. In addition to daylighting, the school will use photovoltaic panels. The school’s environmental features will be used as teaching tools.
