These two buildings are part of a campus-wide masterplan and serve as anchors to the newly created campus entrance mall. Both were successfully completed within an aggressive budget and schedule. The science building features computer and research laboratories for disciplines such as genetics, microbiology, and environmental science. It also houses the Jurica Nature Museum, showcasing a 50-ft whale skeleton and stuffed buffalo. The learning center contains distance learning facilities with teleconferencing capabilities and language laboratories. The clerestory windows on the roof flood the atrium with sunlight and warmth. The 4-story library’s tower is an outward gesture to the community indicating the university's commitment to higher learning.
